May 22, 2012 PAL demo news. We had artist Jacqui Beck demo her acrylic style. Her emphasis was on the "feel" of the work as opposed to the technical side. Jacqui's work uses a lot of under painting and texture. She uses a lot of mixed media for her lovely creations, with vivid colours, to brighten anyone's day. Jacqui shared her means of keeping acrylic paints from drying out in her paint box and on her palette. Thank you Jacqui!
April 24, 2012, David Gray shared his style for Oil Painting with PAL. His work has the feel of the old Dutch masters, capturing that timeless lighting.

Virginia Alvarez, Lynda Desmarteau and Anne Knapp attended a pastel workshop on a PAL Scholarship. In March, they shared their experiences with PAL. Each brought some different insights as to what they learned back to PAL. Here are some images from that Demo.
